Recently me and my husband Tom drove up to Leeds for the weekend for our friends wedding. I’ve started filming little videos of what we get up to, which seeing as I’m recording on my phone is relatively easy. I decided to put the footage together into a vlog style “What we did in Leeds” type video. Obviously I haven’t recorded the wedding, but you do get to see 2 national trust places, 2 museums, vegan doughnuts and us dressed up in our running gear.
I also did a few illustrations just to keep the video semi art related.
One of my favourite places we visited was the National Science and Media museum in Bradford. I definitely recommend going there especially if you’re interested in film and photography. I love seeing how big old technology is, and there’s just something about all the buttons and handles that appeals to me. Maybe it just reminds me of all the weird and wonderful sci fi inventions in films.
I also loved visiting Hardwick Hall and Canons Ashby (both of which are not in Leeds) but we stopped off at both on our journey there and back.
Hope you enjoy the video. Let me know what you think, and if you prefer studio vlogs or if you like seeing other life stuff?
